Harry A. Blackmun Scholarship
Receivers will be selected based on some factors, including academic accomplishment, financial require and possible for making a contribution to society and the legal profession. Preference will be given to petitioners with an important tie to Justice Blackmun's home state of Minnesota.

Humane Studies Fellowships
Applications will be considered from full-time graduate or undergraduate students who have obviously demonstrated interest in the classical libertal/libertarian tradition of individual rights and market economies, and are interested in applying the principles of this tradition in their work. Imelda Rosenthal Bar Exam Scholarship for Public Interest
This scholarship was founded by the Foundation of the State Bar of California to aid law students with the cost of their bar exam. The top winners will obtain Bar/Bri Bar Exam Review Courses and the rest of the winners will obtain a $1,000 award to help pay Bar exam and related fees. Each law school in California may propose up to five candidates for the Rosenthal Scholarship. If there are more than five Boalt candidates, the Boalt Scholarship Committee will choose the five candidates who best meet the standards of the scholarship to forward to the Foundation of the Sate Bar.
Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate a long-term commitment to public service. Applicants must:

  1. Be taking their bar examination for the first time;
  2. Confirm their eligibility to graduate from law school in the year of their bar exam;
  3. Be able to demonstrate a clear require for financial assistance; and
  4. Be willing to sign a renounce permitting the foundation to analysis their information.

Iranian-American Bar Association Scholarship
This scholarship was established to identify law students committed to the improvement of the Iranian-American community. Candidates must be: of Iranian Heritage or committed to the advancement of the Iranian-American community; registered full-time in an accredited law school in the United States; in the position to admit the scholarship in the school year for which it is being conferred.

Italian American Lawyers Association Scholarship
Italian American Lawyers Association of Los Angeles County sponsored this program and this is open to residents of Los Angeles County, California who are attending or planning to focus law school. Latham Diversity Scholars Program
Latham & Watkins Diversity Scholars program is planned to increase the number of different attorneys who want to follow careers in global law firms. The firm rewards four second year law students a $10,000 non-renewable scholarship each for use through their third year of law school. Factors considered in election the Diversity Scholars contain academic and direction accomplishments, life experiences and challenges, and a desire to practice at a global law firm and contribute to its variety objectives.

Otto M. Stanfield Legal Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by a trust formed by Mrs. Marion Barr Stanfield for Unitarian Universalist studying the field of law. Criteria for recipients include a dynamic relationship with Unitarian Universalism, financial require, and matriculation in a recognized institution. The recipient will be a person whom the commission believes will promote Unitarian Universalist values in the larger world. Application is accessible online.

Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
These programs are conferred for up to two years of graduate study in the United States. A New American is an individual who holds a green card or has been naturalized as a U.S. citizen or is the child of two parents who are both naturalized citizens. To be qualified a student must not be older than 30 as of November 1, 2005. A winning candidate will give evidence of at least two of the following three attributes:

  1. Imagination, innovation and initiative exhibited in any area of his/her life;
  2. A commitment and capacity for achievement, established during activity that has required drive and supported effort; and
  3. A commitment to the values expressed in the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Serbian Bar Association of America Scholarship (SBAA)
The Serbian Bar Association of American rewards scholarships to law students who are of Serbian birth or ancestry. Applicants must present a typed essay of no more than 250 words specifying how they plan to use their legal education within the Serbian American community and present a certified photocopy of their law school transcript. Applications can be down load from their website.
