Family law

It is the name given to the area of civil law that a family lawyer or a family attorney covers counting the legal relationships between family members, including the character of marriage (civil unions, and domestic partnerships), husbands, wives, parents, children, and domestic partners, issues arising during marriage (including domestic violence, spousal abuse, legality, child abuse, and child kidnap), the termination of the relationship and subsidiary matters.
A family law attorney or a family law lawyer specializes in the family law relationships which cover adoption, child custody, visitation rights, property settlements, alimony, juvenile dependency and delinquency, marital property rights, support obligations, paternity and parental responsibility orders (in the United States, child custody and visitation, child sustain awards). Because these personal relationships are governed by state law, what constitutes "family law" may vary from state to state.
